RIDGID® Introduces The RS-570 Reciprocating Saw, The New Heavy-Duty Standard For Fast And Easy Steel Pipe Cutting.

RIDGID® expands its Pipe Cutting & Fabrication line with a brand new Heavy Duty Reciprocating Saw designed for Steel Pipe Cutting up to 6”. Thanks to its powerful 1300W Motor and Fast Forward Orbital Action the RIDGID RS-570 doesn’t only provide the perfect cut on steel pipe but can also be effectively used in other sawing applications like plastic/PVC pipe, (nail-embedded) wood, bricks, sheet steel, copper tubing, concrete and plasterboard. The Electronic Speed Control offers 7 pre-set speed levels for addressing these and many other applications at the right speed.

Different than many other Recip Saws in the market, the RS-57 0 offers the user the full flexibility of Dual Use meaning it is suitable for both free hand-cutting and 90° square pipe cutting while mounted on a chain vise or pipe clamp. The RS-570 offers even more ‘duality’ with its Dual Blade Expert-feature which allows the user to use either double shank Heavy-Duty Recip Saw-blades or the universal single shank blades, from RIDGID or other brands. “The Dual Blade Expert feature will make the life of our customers much easier” said Enver Celik, Product Manager at Ridge Tool Europe. “It will allow them to use whatever Recip Saw-blade is available and switch easily from one type of Recip Saw-blade to another”.

The RS-570 has also many features for extended user safety and ergonomic use. The Smart-Switch prevents accidental switching on while the on-board electronics provide top level protection against mains dropout, machine overload and overheat. RS-570 offers a balanced and lightweight tool design with comfortable rubber grips in the front and the back (handle) of the tool, making it the ideal tool for free hand-cutting and overhead applications. Also compared to other Recip Saw-models in the market, the RS-570 produces the least amount of vibration during cutting thanks to its Anti-Vibration design and is Dust/Dirt-proof thanks to the special compression seal of the blade drive.

The RS-570 is supplied in a sturdy blow-molded carrying case and also includes the Heavy-Duty 6” Chain Vice that can be used for very fast setup and 100% pipe grip. The RS-570 will initially be supplied in
‘Limited Edition’, which will include in total 15x original RIDGID Recip Saw-blades entirely for free.
